Terry Martin is a Roman Catholic priest. After graduating from the Royal College of Music where he developed his passion for all things musical, he studied in Rome. He has served in numerous parishes throughout Sussex and Surrey, as well as working in advisory roles for music, liturgy and vocations.

Terry is involved in various forms of animal advocacy, is a recipient of PETA’s Guiding Light award, is a former trustee of Catholic Concern for Animals, and has published in various journals in this field. His book, Animals in Heaven? A Catholic Pastoral Response to Questions about Animals (Wipf and Stock, 2024) is a distillation of his thinking in this area.

Terry shares his home with dogs and enjoys time to read, walk in the wonderful Sussex Downs, listening to music, and trying to improve his use of English.
